HEARSE Drummer Says ARCH ENEMY's AMOTT Helped Them With Guitar Sounds On New CD
June 21, 2004In an interview with Metal-Inside.de, HEARSE drummer Max Thornell (ex-FURBOWL) revealed that ex-ARCH ENEMY/current HEARSE shouter Johan Liiva is once again on good terms with his former ARCH ENEMY bandmate Michael Amott. After ARCH ENEMY parted ways with Liiva, he and Amott publicly blamed each other for the split. "Yes, [that's how] it was back then", Thornell said. "But now they are really friends again. There are no hard feelings right now." In fact, Michael Amott "helped out a lot before the [making of the new HEARSE] album," Max added. "We discussed a lot about guitar sounds. I had no idea about how to make the guitars sound good. And he helped out a lot with some sound ideas." Read the entire interview (in German) at this location.
